We’ve become one of the largest, most trusted, and award-winning non-bank lenders in Australia and New Zealand. Over our 26 years, we’ve achieved a lot, but our proudest accomplishment is helping over half a million Australians reach their goals with our ever-expanding lending options.

The Role

We're looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Risk and Compliance team on a fixed-term 12 Month contract and play a key role in supporting Pepper's compliance framework across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment, partnering with stakeholders across the business and helping ensure we meet our regulatory obligations while delivering great customer outcomes.

Conduct compliance monitoring activities across the business.

Assist with compliance deep-dives, investigations and thematic reviews.

Partner with stakeholders to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.

Provide compliance advice, reporting and recommendations to business leaders.

Support the maintenance and enhancement of Pepper's compliance framework.

Assist with policy, procedure and register reviews.

Prepare compliance reporting, including executive and governance reporting.

Promote a strong culture of compliance across the organisation.

About you

You're a detail‑oriented compliance professional who enjoys analysing information, identifying risks and partnering with stakeholders to achieve the right outcomes. You thrive in regulated environments, can manage competing priorities and bring a practical, solutions‑focused approach to compliance.

Bring experience in compliance, quality assurance or a regulatory-focused role within financial services.

Understand the Australian financial services regulatory environment and consumer lending obligations.

Demonstrate experience conducting monitoring, reviews or assurance activities.

Write clear and concise reports, policies and procedures.

Analyse complex information and translate it into practical recommendations.

Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to a high-performing team.

At Pepper Money, collaboration is just as vital as your skills. Our values are the heartbeat of our success, driving everything we do:
