Job summary

Claro Disability Services in Croydon Park, NSW is hiring for a client-facing role providing person-centered care and support to people with complex needs.

You’ll work across a 24/7 roster with families and healthcare professionals to tailor supports, enable independence and participation in daily life, and build meaningful relationships through consistent shifts and compassionate practice.

Qualifications

• Person-centered, warm, patient and genuinely caring.
• Interest or experience in complex care, disability, and health nuances.
• Great communicator with strong listening and adaptive skills.
• Reliable, professional, with good notes and teamwork.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and shifts.

• Optional: Manual handling, epilepsy management, or disability-support training.

Responsibilities

• Person-centered planning: talk with client and family to understand goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks and devices as per plan.
• Medical supports: monitor changes, follow plans, liaise with care team.
• Social time and participation: provide meaningful activities and community access.
• Autonomy and advocacy: support decision-making and consent, promote independence.
• Cultural humility: respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being.
