Job summary

Champion Data in Adelaide is seeking a Competitions Operations Coordinator to support our Competitions team and broader operations with admin, training and recruitment services. Based in South Australia, you will contribute to roster planning, data capture, QA and match-day readiness across Tier 2 competitions.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to manage staff, and comfortable in a fast-paced sports-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sportscode and Champion Data tools.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to manage staff and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Rostered work as required.
• Capture staff recruitment.
• Capture staff training and content.
• Assist in provision of service - managing, packaging and distribution of AFL and Tier 2 vision.
• Assist as point of contact for AFL and State League (Tier 2) clubs using vision.
• Quality control of Tier 2 statistics weekly through match review of vision and collated statistics.
• Assistance with the loading and maintenance of Tier 2 player databases.
• Checking and updating of applicable Tier 2 fixtures where required.
• Match day readiness (Loading teams in capture, collating teamsheets etc).
• Post round tasks (match reports, audio).
• Season readiness.
• Software testing.
• Capture staff QA / feedback.

Champion Data has an exciting opportunity for an Competitions Operations Coordinator to join our team!

The Competitions Operations Coordinator, based in South Australia will support the Competitions team and the company wide operations by providing administrative, training and recruitment services.

Key Responsibilities

• Rostered work (as required)
• Capture staff recruitment
• Capture staff training and content
• Assist in provision of service - managing, packaging and distribution of AFL and Tier 2 vision
• Assist as point of contact for AFL and State League (Tier 2) clubs using vision

Other

• Weekly meeting with Head of Competitions - Operations, and / or development staff to go through any issues or requirements
• Assist on other agreed projects where required
• Fulfill required tasks as directed by Head of Competitions – Operations
• Work in accordance with all office policies, procedures, and protocols
• Work at South Australian venues on Saturdays during the Aussie Rules peak season as required

• Competent in the use of industry tools such as Sportscode, Champion Data software, Microsoft Office, PlayHQ (desired)
• Strong attention to detail
