Job summary

IRT Aged Care Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and oversee person-centred care within our aged care community in NSW. You will assess residents, document changes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold quality standards and funding requirements.

You will maintain thorough records, participate in care conferences, and respond to emergencies while delivering compassionate support to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Current registration (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Ability to document professionally and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience in aged care with understanding of quality standards and funding instruments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, supervise and manage person-centred care for residents/clients.
• Coordinate and participate in care planning and case conferences.
• Complete resident assessments on admission and as needs change; maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC reporting.
• Respond to emergencies and manage infection control programs.
