Job summary

Arcare in ACT is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care, upholding residents' dignity and independence.

You will implement an individualised wellbeing program, assist with personal care and mobility, support meals, and work closely with nurses to monitor health and document changes.

Applicants should have Certificate III in Ageing or equivalent, be friendly and reliable, with excellent communication and a positive team spirit.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating wellbeing through an individualised lifestyle and wellbeing program
• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
