Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Personal Care Worker to support residents across Boonah, Aratula, Roadvale and Rosevale. The role focuses on delivering personal care, hygiene assistance, mobility support, and companionship to residents with varying needs, including physical frailty.

You will work 20 hours per week, with shifts offering flexible scheduling. The position requires a current driver’s license and the ability to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• No qualifications required.
• Previous cleaning experience.
• Experience in providing personal care services to elderly or disabled individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care and attend to residents' personal care needs.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and daily hygiene routines.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
• Assist with medication reminders and administration as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate care records and daily logs.
• Support residents’ social activities and emotional well-being.
• Advocate for residents’ wellbeing through collaboration with families and care team.
• Proactively check in with residents to address needs and respond to call bells.
