Job summary

Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team for casual or part-time permanent roles. You can work from a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts weekly, with weekends available, providing daily living support under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support (or equivalent)
• A current National Police Check
• A caring and respectful approach towards residents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Empathy with elderly residents and their families
• Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded although not essential
• Experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
• Support residents' emotional and social needs
• Collaborate with the clinical and lifestyle teams to enhance resident experiences
• Work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse
