Job summary

Palm Lake Care Beachmere is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Casual or Part Time basis. You can work from just a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts with flexible hours that support work-life balance.

As a PCA, you’ll provide daily living support under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily activities while promoting resident dignity and wellbeing. The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent required.
• Current National Police Check.
• Caring and respectful approach to residents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and empathy for elderly residents.
• Knowledge of Autumn Care is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in an Australian aged care facility is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility.
• Support residents' emotional and social needs.
