Healius is seeking a Pathology Collector in Katherine, Northern Territory. You will collect blood and other samples, delivering a professional and caring patient experience while ensuring samples are handled accurately to support timely diagnosis and care.

The role offers permanent full-time hours, with a 6-week paid training program through Healius Academy and progressive hours thereafter. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous pathology collection experience is desirable but not essential.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential.
• Healthcare background or strong customer-facing experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
