Healius on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Pathology Collector to join our patient-centered team. You will collect blood and other samples, delivering a calm, professional experience to every patient and ensuring specimens are prepared for transport in line with procedures.

Experience in pathology collection and a Certificate III in Pathology Collection is required; nursing backgrounds with phlebotomy experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection or phlebotomy is preferred.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is required.
• Experience in nursing is welcome for this patient-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
