Job summary

Opal HealthCare's Quakers Hillside Care Community in Sydney's Hills District is seeking caring Assistant in Nursing to support residents with daily living and to help create a home where residents feel valued.

In this role you will build relationships with residents and families, work with nurses, and contribute to a positive team culture. We offer flexible rosters, ongoing learning through the Opal HealthCare Academy, and opportunities across our national communities.

Qualifications

• Person-centred care approach and genuine care for older people.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical, Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Assist residents to maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families and team members.
• Observe, report and respond to changes in residents' wellbeing.
• Support a safe, clean and comfortable living environment.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver exceptional care.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
