Job summary

Opal HealthCare's Quakers Hillside Care Community is seeking caring Assistant in Nursing team members in Sydney. You will support residents with daily living, foster genuine relationships, and help create a home where people feel valued and cared for.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team, report changes in residents’ wellbeing, and contribute to a positive culture with ongoing learning opportunities through Opal HealthCare Academy.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Ageing/Resident Care required.
• Demonstrated compassion and empathy for older people.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical, Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Assist residents to maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families and team members.
• Observe, report and respond to changes in residents’ wellbeing.
• Support a safe, clean and comfortable living environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
