Job summary

Suncare Community Services is seeking Domestic Assistants for permanent part-time roles in the Caboolture region. You will provide in-home support, assist with daily tasks, and help clients maintain independence in their own homes across Caboolture and nearby communities.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, reliability, and strong communication, with a roster that fits around available hours. Valid driver’s license and vehicle are beneficial for travel between client homes.

Qualifications

• Experience with household cleaning and creating comfortable spaces.
• Ability to work independently with reliability and respect.
• Must hold a current Australian Driver's Licence and have a reliable vehicle.
• First Aid, CPR and a National Criminal History Check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with household chores such as laundry, cleaning and meal prep.
• Help with basic daily activities and maintain a welcoming home environment.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation during visits.
• Support clients to stay independent in their own homes.
