Job summary

Care Live Smile is hiring Home Support Workers in South-East Sydney to provide in-home care for the elderly and disabled clients. Roles include personal care, domestic tasks, meal prep, and transport assistance to appointments and social activities.

Applicants must have First Aid, a valid NDIS or Police check, full vaccination with booster, and be able to travel to surrounding suburbs. For a personal care role, a Cert III/IV in Aged Care or related field is required.

• NDIS Worker Screening ID or AU National Police Check
• COVID-19 vaccination with booster
• Casual work availability and ASAP start

Home Support Workers in South-East Sydney - Casual Work

Job responsibilities:

**To support the elderly and clients with disabilities at home.

• Personal care- showering, dressing up, toileting, transfer assist, etc.
• Domestic assistance- assistance with cleaning and other housework.
• Meal preparation- cooking and preparing meals for the client.
• Transport service/ social support- driving to appointments, outings, shopping, and other recreational activities.

Basic job requirements (for domestic assistance):

• First Aid (HLTAID003, HLTAID011, HLTAID004, HLTAID012)
• NDIS Worker Screening IDorAU National Police Check
• COVID-19 fully vaccinated with booster
• Available most of the days and can start ASAP
• Willing to work on a casual basis and to travel in the surrounding suburbs

For personal care service, you must have all the above requirements and:

• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support or Nursing

For transport services, you must have all the basic requirements and:

• Comprehensive car insurance - with your name as an insured driver
• Full driver's licence
• Car Registration

Additional qualifications (preferably with but not required):

• Working with Children Check
• Dementia Certificates
