Job summary

My Guardian is seeking a compassionate Carer to provide personalised, person-centred care to clients in Captains Flat NSW and surrounding areas. You will join a supportive team, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing, with flexible scheduling to suit your availability.

Responsibilities include companionship, light duties, monitoring health changes, and maintaining accurate care records; qualifications include Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care, First Aid, and NDIS/Police checks.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
• Sponsorship opportunities for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.
