HammondCare is seeking a Home Care Worker to provide essential in-home care to older people, helping them live independently and stay connected to their communities.

Travel to clients’ homes in your own car is required; you’ll be reimbursed at $0.99 per kilometre with paid travel time and a mobile phone provided. Training is provided, and opportunities for career development are available.

Qualifications

• Provides essential, practical care for older people to help them live independently at home.
• Must be patient, compassionate and solution-focused.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to insured car required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home aged and community care in clients' homes.
• Build relationships and offer companionship to improve quality of life.
• Travel to clients' homes in own car; mileage paid at $0.99/km plus travel time.
