Job summary

HammondCare Home Care in Ulladulla is seeking carers for casual shifts. You will provide essential care to help older people live independently at home and build meaningful relationships with clients.

You’ll travel to clients’ homes using your own car; mileage is paid at 0.99 AUD per km plus travel time. A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable car are required; Certificate III in Aged Care is preferred but training is available.

Qualifications

You’re a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused.
Experience in aged or community care, or keen to start a career in aged care.
Valid driver’s licence and access to insured, reliable car.
Ideally have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support; training available if not qualified.
Flexible to meet changing needs of home care clients.

Responsibilities

Provide essential, practical care for older people to help them live independently at home.
Build meaningful relationships and offer companionship.
Travel to clients’ homes; mileage paid (0.99 AUD per km) and travel time paid.
