Job summary

Uniting is seeking a Home Care Worker in Inverell to provide essential in-home care for elderly clients. The role is permanent part-time, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of AUD 36.23–37.68 per hour plus kilometre allowances and travel time.

You will support clients at home, promoting independence and wellbeing in the Inverell area. Benefits include a $500 bonus at 6 and 12 months, salary packaging options, and access to the U rewards program.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Empathetic and resourceful, aligned with Uniting values.
• Flexible to accommodate client needs.
• Provisional or full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help with housekeeping, grocery shopping and meal preparation.
• Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips and social activities.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, meals and medication administration.
