Job summary

Respect Group Limited in North West Tasmania is seeking a part-time Home Care Assistant to deliver person-centred support to clients in their own homes, helping with daily living, companionship, and promoting independence and wellbeing in line with individual care plans.

You will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability, have a current First Aid certificate, a valid driver’s licence and access to a registered vehicle.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability required.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a registered and insured vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across Burnie and Wynyard region.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with domestic tasks, meal planning and preparation.
• Provide transport and accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Monitor client wellbeing and report changes to the Home Care Manager.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional boundaries.
