Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic duties for the aged and/or people with a disability at their home.
• Awareness of agency policies, procedures and client confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and Community Health team members, and work as a team.
• Current Driver’s Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential household and personal care duties as assessed and documented in the client’s care plan.
• Transport relevant equipment to the clients’ homes to perform household and personal care duties.
• Provide feedback to staff coordinating the service of any significant changes in the clients’ health status.
