Job summary

St John of God Healthcare at Home is seeking a Casual Personal Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes. You will deliver compassionate personal care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain independence and dignity for clients receiving home-based care.

Working on a casual basis, you will collaborate with Registered Nurses and the broader healthcare team, contribute to safe and efficient service delivery, and uphold privacy and high standards of care in home environments.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is essential.
• Current First Aid, CPR and WA Driver’s Licence required.
• Experience in a community, aged care, disability or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support tailored to each patient’s needs at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, showering and grooming.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality, working with nurses.
• Support stock management and fleet logistics for the service.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
