Job summary

ITEC Group Australia is seeking a compassionate, adaptable Disability Support Worker to empower clients with diverse needs in New South Wales. You will follow care plans, work with participants and coordinators to deliver meaningful supports, and contribute to a respectful, person-centred service.

The role requires a Certificate III in Individual Support, screenings, first aid and CPR, a valid open driver licence, and availability of at least 15 hours per week across varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Availability to work at least 15 hours per week, including a mix of weekdays, weekends, short shifts, early shifts, sleepovers, and active nights.
• A Certificate III in Individual Support and above (or similar qualification).
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
• Completion of the NDIS New Worker Induction and Orientation Modules.
• A valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009).
• A current Australian Open Driver Licence and access to an insured vehicle.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Providing respectful personal care and support with daily living tasks
• Assisting with domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal prep
• Experience in Mental Health support service
• Administering medication (as required)
• Documenting case notes and completing incident reports as needed
