Qualifications

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (preferred).
Previous experience in social care is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
NDIS knowledge and basic first aid/CPR advantageous.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients, fostering independence and self-esteem.
Monitor and document client progress and report any changes in behaviour or health to the appropriate professionals.
Facilitate social and recreational activities to enhance clients' quality of life.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
