Job summary

BlueCare in Mt Isa is recruiting a Personal Carer Domestic to support clients in the community, improving independence and quality of life. You will visit homes for daily activities, provide domestic tasks like cleaning, meal prep and laundry, and assist with transport to appointments and shopping.

The role offers part-time permanent hours, with benefits such as salary packaging, travel reimbursements, and employee discounts. A driver’s licence and a suitable vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Provide care to clients in the community, supporting independence and quality of life.
• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients at home.
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal prep, laundry and ironing.
• Transport and assist with shopping and appointments.
