Bluebird Care Rushcliffe & Melton is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. You’ll support customers in their own homes with daily living activities, working either independently or with a supportive team.

We offer an excellent hourly rate of £15.00–£15.50, full-time 35–40 hours per week, 28 days paid holiday pro rata, mileage allowance, training paid, DBS check paid, and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prep, nutrition and meal planning.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly face for customers you care for.
