Abacare Limited (Part of CCH Group) in Ebbw Vale seeks a Care Assistant to visit vulnerable adults in Blackwood, helping them stay independent and maintain dignity at home.

You’ll support with washing, dressing, meals, medication prompts and companionship, in a role with truly flexible hours (full-time, part-time, mornings, evenings, weekends).

Care Assistant

Location: Blackwood

Pay: £13.45-£13.55 per hour with 30p per mile mileage allowance

Hours: Truly Flexible – Full-time, Part-time, Mornings, Evenings, or Weekends

Job Description: As a Care Assistant you will be the highlight of someone’s day, visiting vulnerable adults in the Blackwood community in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity.

• Assist with washing and dressing.
• Prepare breakfast or lunch.
• Prompt medication.
• Provide a listening ear, friendly chat and companionship.

Qualifications

No prior experience required. Full paid training is provided.
