Job summary

IRT Kirrawee Place is seeking friendly, enthusiastic Part Time Cafe Attendants to deliver a welcoming cafe experience for residents, families and visitors. You will handle coffee, tea and light meals while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers flexible weekend shifts, training and opportunities for career development within a not-for-profit aged care provider. As part of our diverse team, you'll adhere to food safety standards and maintain a clean, inviting cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Health Services or equivalent is required.
• Experience in hospitality, cafe or customer service roles is essential.
• Confidence using a coffee machine and preparing quality beverages is desirable.
• Friendly and approachable with a genuine passion for customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving coffee, tea and other beverages using a coffee machine.
• Preparing and serving toasted and fresh sandwiches.
• Providing friendly and efficient customer service to residents, families and visitors.
• Taking orders, handling payments and maintaining accurate transactions.
• Keeping the cafe clean, tidy and well-presented.
• Restocking cafe supplies and monitoring stock levels.
• Adhering to food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Building positive relationships with residents and creating a welcoming cafe experience.
