Job summary

24 Kare Pty Ltd is seeking an Aged or Disabled Care Worker to join its team in Casino, NSW. The role is full-time, approximately 38 hours per week, with overtime opportunities and salary between AUD 75,000 and AUD 80,000 per year, exclusive of superannuation.

The successful candidate will provide personalised support to people with disabilities, assist with daily living activities, personal care and household tasks, while promoting independence and wellbeing in a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate II or III or at least one year of relevant experience.
• Experience in disability, community, aged care, or support services.
• Ability to provide personal and community support to people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, meal prep and home maintenance.
• Communicate with clients and families to understand needs and arrange support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
• Help clients access disability support programs and community resources.
• Support clients in developing skills and participating in education, training or employment where appropriate.
• Monitor wellbeing and safety, identify hazards, and respond to incidents or emergencies.
