Job summary

Ausnew Support Services Pty Ltd is seeking dedicated full-time aged or disabled carers in New South Wales. This role requires compassionate, reliable individuals to provide routine personal care and direct client support in clients’ homes, with responsibilities spanning companionship, mobility assistance and daily living activities.

Applicants must hold AQF Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Disability) or higher, have at least 1 year of relevant paid experience, and possess First

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Disability) or higher required.
• Minimum 1 year of paid direct client care experience (Aged or Disabled Carer).
• Proficiency in personal care tasks and adherence to safe work practices (manual handling).
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Valid Australian Driver's License, access to a reliable vehicle, and a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine personal care and direct support to clients in their homes.
• Offer emotional support, companionship and friendship.
• Assist with mobility and activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Arrange social activities and accompany clients on outings.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and general household chores.
• Assist with personal hygiene and dressing.
• May do shopping and run errands.
• Provide general household assistance and care.
