Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your role involves assisting with personal care, supporting mobility, and helping with meals while maintaining documentation and working with the care team to ensure resident comfort and safety. Permanent shifts are available with an emphasis on compassionate, team-based care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
