Job summary

Royal Freemasons Ltd is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join the Mount Martha Valley Residential Aged Care team. You will deliver person-centred care, support daily living activities, and maintain documentation while upholding quality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of PCA experience in aged care and hold Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing). A flexible approach and teamwork are essential for success in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Personal Care Assistant in Aged Care
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
• Compassionate, patient, resident‑focused approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of person‑centred care and dignity of risk
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including minimum 2 day week shifts

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents
• Assist with personal care including showering, dressing, toileting, mobility and meals
• Complete accurate care documentation and clinical records
• Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism
• Monitor and report changes in resident wellbeing, incidents, and hazards
• Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S, and infection control practices
• Work collaboratively with the care team to achieve positive resident outcomes
• Participate in mandatory training and continuous quality improvement activities
