Job summary

Royal Freemasons Ltd is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join Monash Gardens Residential Aged Care in Mulgrave, VIC. You will deliver person-centred personal and clinical care, supporting residents’ comfort, dignity and wellbeing within a supportive team.

You’ll assist with personal care, document care activities, and monitor residents while adhering to quality standards and infection control.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent is required.
• Experience in aged care or health services is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are important.
• Understanding of person-centred care and dignity of risk.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Assist with personal care including showering, dressing, toileting, mobility and meals.
• Complete accurate care documentation and clinical records.
• Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism.
• Monitor and report changes in resident wellbeing, incidents and hazards.
• Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S and infection control practices.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to achieve positive resident outcomes.
• Participate in mandatory training and continuous quality improvement activities.
