Job summary

Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) in Victoria is hiring a Part Time / Casual Food Services Assistant to join our kitchen team. You will assist with meal preparation, plating, and serving residents in a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires a Food Safety Certificate, hospitality or aged care experience (1+ year preferred), and knowledge of hygiene practices. You must have Australian working rights, a current Police Check, and comply with influenza and COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Certificate (Required).
• Experience in hospitality or aged care (1+ year preferred).
• Certificate II/III in Hospitality or similar (desirable).
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
• Current Police Check (Required).
• Australian working rights (Required).
• Influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food plating.
• Serve meals and beverages to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen and dining environment.
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff.
