Job summary

Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) is seeking a Part Time Food Services Assistant to support our Casey Aged Care kitchen. You will assist with meal preparation, plating, and serving residents in a safe, welcoming environment.

The role offers 30 hours per fortnight with opportunities for additional shifts, ongoing training, and a supportive team culture. Applicants must have a Food Safety Certificate and be eligible to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Certificate (Required)
• Experience in hospitality or aged care (1+ year preferred)
• Certificate II/III in Hospitality or similar (desirable)
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
• Current Employment Police Check (Required)
• Australian working rights (Required)
• Influenza vaccination
• COVID-19 vaccination

• Assist with meal preparation and food plating
• Serve meals and beverages to residents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen and dining environment
