Job summary

Infinite Aged Care, based in Queensland, is seeking a permanent, full-time Cook at Edmonton Gardens. You will prepare nutritious meals and snacks, supervise kitchen staff, and maintain a safe, hygienic kitchen that supports resident wellbeing.

Working with the care team, you’ll ensure meals meet dietary needs while leading quarterly seasonal menus and managing purchasing and stock. A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required; prior aged care/health experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery.
• Strong communication and ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Committed to safety, upskilling, continuous learning and resident-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to residents' dietary needs and cultural backgrounds.
• Lead and supervise kitchen staff and day-to-day operations.
• Oversee food purchasing, stock control and kitchen efficiency.
• Cater for special occasions, events and celebrations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen supporting resident wellbeing.
• Adhere to food safety standards and quality presentation.
