Job summary

St Vincent’s Care Corinda, part of St Vincent’s Health Australia, invites applications for Living Support Partners (Personal Care Assistant). You will join a dedicated team delivering compassionate, person-centred care to residents in a household setting.

Duties include direct care, daily living support, and accurate record-keeping in a supportive environment. Morning and afternoon shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar essential.
• Ability to work Morning (6:30 - 14:30) and Afternoon (14:30 - 22:30) shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience (dementia experience) highly regarded.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records.
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Support residents to manage daily routines, lifestyle and choices.
• Work as a household member under supervision and follow care plans.
