Job summary

St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking Living Support Partners (Personal Care Assistant) to care for residents at St Vincent’s Care Corinda in Brisbane. You will provide direct care, assist with daily living activities, and support wellbeing within a household setting.

The role requires a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, 12 months+ aged care experience, excellent service and communication skills, and proficiency with AutumnCare. NCCHC clearance is also required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care is essential.
• 12 months+ experience in a similar residential aged care role (dementia experience highly regarded).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Experience with AutumnCare or similar software and ability to maintain records.
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights and responsibilities; able to follow care plans.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Support residents' daily routine, lifestyle and choices to ensure safety and engagement.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate records using care software.
• Operate as an effective household member within the assigned household.
