Job summary

Arcare in Victoria is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and documentation, working closely with nurses and the wider care team in a supportive, team-focused environment. Applicants must have Australian Working Rights and may need an NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
