Job summary

Ozcare Malanda is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support our aged care clients at the Malanda Facility. You will follow personalised care plans, assist with daily living activities, and help clients maintain independence.

This permanent part-time role offers benefits including 5 weeks annual leave, salary packaging options, uniform and laundry allowance, and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Community Care is required.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
• National Police Check within last 3 years.
• Influenza vaccination and at least one Covid-19 vaccine dose may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in line with personalised care plans.
• Assist clients to develop skills to maintain independence.
• Attend to personal care needs including showering and dressing.
• Assist with medication requirements.
• Work as part of a holistic care team.
