Job summary

CE Group in Yatala, Australia, is seeking an experienced Company Accountant to take end-to-end financial ownership of the Pacific entity. Reporting to the CFO, you will work with project managers and operations leaders to deliver clear financial insights for project delivery.

This role covers end-to-end accounting, month-end and year-end reporting, taxation and compliance, treasury and FX, payroll for Pacific Operations, and ongoing improvements to controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• CA or CPA qualification, or working towards.
• Experience in financial reporting, taxation and compliance.
• Broad accounting experience in construction, engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong project accounting, advanced Excel and ERP skills.
• Experience with international currencies or COINS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end financial accounting for the entity.
• Deliver month-end and year-end reporting.
• Manage taxation, statutory compliance and audit prep.
• Support treasury, cash-flow and foreign-currency activities.

We are seeking an experienced Company Accountant to take end-to-end financial ownership of an entity supporting our Pacific operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be a trusted finance partner to operational leaders and Project Managers, providing the financial clarity and commercial insights needed to support successful project delivery.

About the role

• Manage end-to-end financial accounting for the assigned entity
• Deliver accurate month-end, year-end and management reporting
• Manage taxation, statutory compliance and audit preparation
• Support treasury, cash-flow and foreign-currency activities
• Manage end to end payroll for Pacific Operations
• Strengthen financial controls and improve systems and processes

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
• CA or CPA qualification or working towards
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, taxation and compliance
• Broad accounting experience within construction, engineering or infrastructure
• Strong project accounting, advanced Excel and ERP systems capability
• International, foreign-currency, Power BI or COINS experience is advantageous
