Job summary

Shepparton Express, based at our head office in Shepparton, is seeking an Accountant to ensure the Group's accounting functions run efficiently. You will report to the Group CFO and handle month-end, year-end, reconciliations and management reporting across entities.

The role requires a Bachelor in Accounting or related degree, 1–2 years in accounting, strong reconciliation skills, and proficiency in Xero and Excel. Full working rights in Australia and multi-entity experience are preferred.

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. Based at our head office in Shepparton and reporting to the Group CFO, you will play a key role in ensuring the accounting function for the Sfetco Group run efficiently at all times.

What you'll do

Prepare month-end and year-end accounts for Group's entities

Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations, including inter entity transactions

Prepare BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations

Prepare management reports and support budgeting and forecasting

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes

Support the Group CFO with ad hoc analysis and projects

What you'll need

Bachelor of Accounting or Business (Accounting major)

At least 1-2 years' experience in an accounting or finance role

Strong reconciliation and attention-to-detail skills

Good working knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Excel

Ability to manage deadlines across multiple entities

Clear communication skills and a team-focused approach

Full working rights in Australia

Experience with group or multi-entity accounting

CA or CPA qualified, or working towards it

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, in our Shepparton office.
