Alzheimer's Queensland (AQ) is a progressive organisation dedicated to helping older Australians live safely and with dignity at home. We are seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our Gunnedah team on a casual basis to support clients aged 65+ in their own homes with person-centred care.

Role involves personal care, daily living tasks, social support, meal preparation, and maintaining clear documentation to support independence and wellbeing in the community.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Care is essential.
• Experience supporting older people in a community setting is required.
• Strong time management and ability to work autonomously.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Availability Monday to Friday.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Current Queensland Open Driver's Licence.
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Smart phone is required.
• National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

We are seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our community care team on a casual basis for our Gunnedah location . This role supports aged care clients aged 65 years and above within their own homes, delivering services with a strong person-centred care approach.

You will play a meaningful role in enabling clients to remain engaged in their community while maintaining independence and wellbeing.

Requirements
