Job summary

City of Unley is seeking an experienced Team Leader Community Safety to lead a dedicated team delivering regulatory and compliance services across the City, including parking enforcement, permits, local nuisance management and animal management.

Reporting to the Manager Customer Experience and Communications, you will drive service excellence, mentor staff and implement innovative approaches while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a customer-focused environment.
• Experience managing compliance, regulatory or community safety functions within a complex service environment.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policy frameworks and compliance practices.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to lead change, drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality customer outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively across an organisation while balancing operational priorities and community expectations.
