Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our community nursing team serving NDIS participants across Sydney's south and inner west. The role is initially part-time, visiting participants in their homes and communities, managing your own diary and travel.

You will perform wound care, catheter management, PEG feeding, medication administration, continence assessment, and build ongoing relationships with participants.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), no conditions or undertakings.
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate nursing experience.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance, or willingness to obtain.
• National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Children Check (NSW), or willingness to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed before you start.
• Current CPR (HLTAID009) and First Aid (HLTAID011).
• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence, own vehicle, comprehensive insurance.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Willing to travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Wound care and pressure injury management.
• Catheter insertion and management (IDC/SPC).
• PEG feeding and enteral nutrition support.
• Medication administration.
• Continence assessment and product recommendations.
• Building relationships with participants through repeat visits.
