Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time community visits across Sydney's south and inner west, expanding to full-time as caseload grows. You will manage your diary, travel to NDIS participants, and work independently in the community rather than a clinic setting.

The role involves wound care, catheter management, PEG feeding support, medication administration, and continence assessments, with a focus on building long-term relationships with participants.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with no conditions.
• Minimum 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance, or willingness to obtain.
• National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Working With Children Check (NSW), or willingness to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed before starting.
• Current CPR (HLTAID009) and First Aid (HLTAID011).
• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence with own vehicle and insurance.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Willingness to travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and pressure injury management.
• Undertake catheter insertion and management (IDC/SPC).
• Support PEG feeding and enteral nutrition.
• Administer medications.
• Conduct continence assessments and product recommendations.
