Job summary

Scalabrini Communities in Sydney is seeking a Casual Community Registered Nurse to deliver hands-on clinical care to older people in their homes. You will work independently in clients' homes, providing nursing care and building meaningful relationships.

You will perform assessments, manage medications, assist with wound care, and coordinate with families and the care team to support independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in community or aged care.
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel to clients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical nursing care in the community, including a broad range of assessments, interventions, and ongoing monitoring (such as wound care, medication management, and other clinical supports as required)
• Undertake clinical assessments and prescribe nursing supplies, including wound care products and management plans
• Complete continence assessments and recommend/prescribe appropriate continence aids and supports
• Provide care to clients with complex and changing health needs, including post-hospital support
• Work collaboratively with clients, families, and the broader care team to ensure coordinated, person-centred care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and update nursing care plans
• Advocate for clients' rights to autonomy, dignity, and choice

Are you a passionate Registered Nurse with experience in community or home care looking to make a real difference?

Scalabrini is seeking a Casual Community Registered Nurse to deliver hands-on clinical care to older people in their own homes, supporting them to maintain their health, independence, and dignity.

This is not a facility-based role, you will be working independently in the community, providing clinical nursing care directly in clients' homes, while building meaningful relationships and supporting them to live well at home.

Your Role:
