Job summary

Silver Chain Group in Grafton, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support older Australians at home.

Join a caring team for 1 day per week (Thursday), 8am-2pm, with an hourly rate of $62.77 plus tax‑free salary packaging options. You will provide wound, catheter and chronic disease care, administer medications, and apply advanced assessment in community settings.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or postgraduate qualification is required.
• 2+ years post-graduate general nursing experience.
• Current AHPRA registration with no notations.
• Interest in working in community and aged care.
• Strong wound and catheter care, and chronic disease management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound, stoma and bowel care.
• Catheter care (IDC - Males & Females).
• Apply advanced clinical assessment for chronic disease management.

What we’re looking for

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing.
• 2+ years post-graduate, with broad experience in general nursing.
• Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations.
• Genuine interest in working in the community and with the aged population (experience an advantage).
• Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach.
• Strong experience in wound and catheter care, and chronic disease management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with families and other clinicians.
• Australian driver's licence.

The role

• Perform an optimum standard of nursing care to our clients.
• Use your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities to provide an optimum standard of care to our clients.
