Job summary

BlueCare, part of the UnitingCare family, is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in the community across Dakabin, Griffin and surrounding areas. You’ll spend most time on the road visiting clients in their homes, assisting with daily living tasks and personal care to promote independence and quality of life.

Ideal applicants hold a Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent, a current Australian driver’s licence, and access to a suitable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client visits to support daily activities in homes.
• Provide in-home personal care including showering, personal hygiene, meals, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Care to individualised Care Plans.
