Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare, is seeking a Personal Carer Domestic to support clients in the community. You will spend time visiting clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and domestic tasks to improve independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include household chores, meal prep, laundry, and accompanying clients to appointments or shopping. A current driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the road completing scheduled visits, one-on-one with clients in their homes.
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing.
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
