Job summary

BlueCare, part of the UnitingCare Family, is seeking a Personal Carer Domestic to visit clients in the community, supporting independence and quality of life. You will travel to clients’ homes, assist with daily activities and domestic tasks, and accompany them to appointments.

The role requires a valid Australian driver’s licence, a roadworthy vehicle, and comfort with smartphones and laptops. Probity checks will be conducted as per policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work – Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes, assisting with daily activities
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation, laundry and ironing
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
